This is my issue. She wont lock or unlock.
Start by removing the arm rest screws. One is located in the center and the last one is at the rear of the arm rest.
Now remove the rear arm rest screw.
Remove the plastic insert of the inner door release handle.Using a very small screw driver.
Gently remove and disconnect the window switch.
Remove the Phillips screw.
Remove the Phillips screw holding the arm rest to the door.
Almost there.....
Don't
What ever you do           pull on the door trim.Put you hand on both sides of the lower portion of the door trim, gently lift and release the trim from the door panel.
Remove the chrome plate around the door latch.
Disconnect the cigar lighter and the valet light from the bottom of the trim panel.
There are two hooks like this on either side of the trim panel.
Unscrew all three screws holding the defective actuator with a 1/4 inch drive ratchet and 8mm socket.
As you can see I had a plug in the vacuum hose so that i wouldn't have a vacuum leak.Temporary fix until I got the part needed.
Your going to need this vacuum pump to test the actuator and make sure its defective.
Well you can clearly see this actuator holds no vacuum what so ever. She has to go.
This plastic clip is holding the actuator rod, pull the tab back a little to free the rod.
The new one.Don't forget to reconnect the vacuum hose to it and bring the metal actuator rod inside its hole.
This is the defective actuator.
Put your three screws back in place.
Actuator installed inside the door.
Reinstall your arm rest screw.
Reconnect your valet light and cigar lighter. And install your door trim by sliding it downwards so that the hook fit back in the door panel.
Install your plastic insert gently so not to crack it.
Reconnect your window switch and pop it back in place.
And its done.
All in all it took about 20 minutes...I had fun doing this for you and i hope it was helpful.
