1982 300D Turbo Diesel engine removal.
The previous owner neglected this engine in every way,I suspect the timing chain was never replaced and the damage done was unbelievable.
This was a week end project that turned out to be a pain in the @#&&**##@.In one day we removed two engines and refitted one of them in another chassis.Our biggest problem was to re align the torque converter and the front pump shaft on the transmission.The next pain was to screw in the two upper screws on each side of the upper bell housing and transmission.
Many parts were saved and are being sold right now...If interested in anything just let me know!
