Ok, I got it
Valve adjustment 123,126 Turbo Diesel
This project is probably the most scary of all DIY.But in fact its so easy to do.Your not in a race when your doing this.It will take some time but all in all its pretty fast.

So that being said lets begin with what we have......
Back To Home Page
Tools you will need.
Torque wrench 3/8 drive.3/8 drive ratchet,6 inch extension,12mm and 13mm socket
Long Flat head screw drivers.
Pliers (Water pump type)
Open/closed wrench 22mm
Feeler gauge
Special valve adjusting wrenches
A diagram of intake and exhaust valves ...Bottom of the sheet is the front of engine.
A new valve cover gasket.
Don't re use the old one you will create a mess.
First lets unscrew the breather hose connected to the valve cover.
Then disconnect the vacuum lines
Disconnect the throttle linkage, simply apply pressure with your flat head screw driver to release.
Done
This next one too...
Now remove the cotter pin at the back of the fuel pedal linkage, and be careful not to loose the washer at the rear.
Done.
By simply applying pressure on both sides of the plastic and pushing towards the back, the cable will release itself and then set aside.
Now disconnect the transmission cable that sits on top the valve cover.
Now locate all four (4) nuts holding the valve cover in place.
Unscrew all four bolts and be careful not to loose the nuts and washers under them.
On this car I had to remove a return fuel line that was obstructing the removal of the valve cover...
Now using your 22mm wrench set it on the power steering pulley and rotate clock wise.
Towards the windshield washer bottle.
Once the valve cover is off simply lay it on your work bench.
Bring the first cam lobe to 1 O'clock

Important....
Do NOT rotate your cam shaft counter clockwise!!
I will complete this shortly.

Thank you for your patience.
Big Dan
This setting is at 12 o'clock. Not where it should be!!
The open end of the wrench is on the power steering bolt.
