Window switch cleaning
These window switches came off my 126,they were very dirty and sticky,I used contact cleaner and a small brush to clean them and back in they went. They operate great now, you may have to clean them periodically.
Contact cleaner is a must.
You need to pry open each side of the switch with your flat head screw driver.
Tools needed for this is a small flat head screw driver
Yes I know it looks scary but its all very simple.
Remove the small brass toggle leavers
These brass toggle leavers need to be removed
Clean all of the springs with contact cleaner.
Clean all of these components including the small ball bearings
Look how dirty the inside of these switches are, coffee and pop spills
Reassemble springs on black tips
Once its all cleaned out, reassemble by putting in your brass toggle leavers, ball bearings in the center of the toggles.Springs will go inside the switches itself then you can put the switches back in and making sure they clip in.
